Our Story

In November of 2022, our founder Sara created NFW Littles Playgroup after failing to find support groups in Fort Worth, TX specifically designated for moms of babies and toddlers. NFW Littles began with a once-a-week meetup at Haslet Community Park and quickly grew because countless moms all longed for a “village” to raise their babies with. What began as three moms and three babies sitting on a blanket chatting quickly blossomed into a full-fledged playgroup with new members joining each week. After a few months, some members began stepping up to host events for the group and we continued to find new locations for our meetups. Now, NFW Littles is a non-profit organization that consistently hosts 30-40 events every week for our nearly 2,000 members, thanks to our team of 50+ coordinators. While our initial vision for the group was simple—getting stay-at-home moms out of the house to socialize—NFW Littles Playgroup has become a pillar in the community for moms and families in all circumstances to find in-person support, build lasting friendships, and participate in engaging activities for their children.
